Illness is a ...I hope your condition improves Todd. Illness is a strange thing for the writer/poet to deal with as people actually think just sitting and writing requires little energy. In fact it requires a great deal and even reading can be exhausting for some. You are wise to steer a course that lies somewhere between the 'true grit...just get on with it' mentality and the total hands up surrender. Of course that art of navigation is one of constant small readjustments. Hope things progress well, enjoy that which you can do and learn to let go of whatever you can't do.Writearoundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04820159609095158259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13726943.post-49343050415715911962009-10-11T00:11:51.626+01:002009-10-11T00:11:51.626+01:00Todd, so sorry about all this. Films and music perhaps squeak into the narrow space in between. Wishing you well.
AnneAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18308068899467100319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13726943.post-33447154846669264072009-10-10T02:31:51.474+01:002009-10-10T02:31:51.474+01:00John Adams over Madonna any day!

When my wife, Rusty, was seriously ill with cancer, I prayed like mad and she eventually pulled through. Rusty and I are both praying for you, but, more importantly, perhaps, you need to pray for yourself. If possible, do have an enjoyable National Poetry Day.

Best wishes from Simon & RustyPoetry Pleases!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16686247991180317838noreply@blogger.com
